Join WCS in supporting the female fighters in Ukraine, in person or with an online donation. Community organizers will be in Kyiv, at Holosiivskyi National Nature Park doing a cleanup, meeting at 10am local time. All proceeds from this event will go to Zemliachky, an organization supporting female fighters on the frontlines.

Zemliachky was formed shortly after Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine. Since February 24th, 2022, about 60,000 women have joined the fight against Russia. For more than a year, women have been fighting on the frontlines of the war in Ukraine without proper equipment, says Zemliachky. Zemliachky is working to supply the female fighters with proper uniforms, boots, helmets, feminine hygiene products, and more.

Join WCS in Kyiv or in your own community on June 24th for a morning cleaning up your local environment. Share your efforts on social media and tag WCS or using the #ZemliachkyFund. All donations will go directly to Zemliachky, supporting the female fighters. Current needs include summer clothes, tactical headphones, generators, field stoves, drones, night-vision glasses, etc. Zemliachky has a goal 10,000 full uniform kits, including a military t-shirt, pants, socks, underwear, and boots. 

After the cleanup, we’ll be walking to local coffee shop, Kitchen & Garden.
