Oluwabamise Onabanjo is an ESG analyst at Morrison Foerster’s San Francisco office. Her role involves researching and analyzing ESG regulations across all areas where the company operates. She works with clients to develop ESG compliance policies and procedures for asset managers, public companies, and private companies. In addition, Oluwabamise integrates ESG aspects of diligence in investment and M&A.
Oluwabamise is a Nigerian-trained attorney with experience in working across the intersection between law and public policy. Before joining the firm, she worked as a research assistant at Yale Law School and as a policy analyst with the Office of Undergraduate Studies at Duke University. She has advised clients on environmental and social obligations such as energy efficiency, labor law compliance, and sustainability standards.
In 2021, Oluwabamise received her L.L.M. from Duke University. She was awarded the Judy Horowitz Scholarship, which covers full tuition for one outstanding student per class, and served as the L.L.M. 2021 Commencement Speaker. She also holds an undergraduate degree from Babcock University, where she was awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Outstanding Achievement Award in 2016.
