Join WCS and Votes for the Planet to discuss the impact of plastic pollution and create your own Plastic Pollution Plan!

  • This event is free not only to WCS members, but to the general public as well. Bring a friend!
  • Refer to the membership options here.

Plastics are present in virtually every aspect of our lives: at the grocery store, restaurants, online shopping, packaging, and the list goes on. Plastic pollution wreaks havoc on our oceans, soil, air, and has become a growing cause of climate change. But have you wondered how best to fight plastic pollution?

You have the power to turn the tide on plastic pollution! Every single one of us can reduce our plastic consumption, change the culture, and help change plastic policy. When we do, we protect our habitats, combat climate change, and strengthen environmental justice. Now that’s a win/win!

Join the Women in Cleantech community and Votes for the Planet to learn about the range of options you can take to make a difference. We will discuss the impact of plastic pollution, then we’ll each create our own Plastic Pollution Plan on one of several fun templates. We’ll also share how you can amplify your impact by sharing your plan with others, which through the support of our generous sponsors, will trigger a donation to the Plastic Pollution Coalition! This event will be moderated by WCS’s own Caroline Trowbridge, Daniel Brickman from Votes for the Planet, and Kirpa Grewal from Sustainable Brands.

Excited to see you there! Note that this event is free not only to WCS members, but to the general public as well.
