As the Founder and President of Smart Waste, and the co-host of the Trash Magic! podcast, Sara’s dedication to the circular economy and waste management technologies has positioned her as a leading voice in the industry.

In her new role, Sara aims to continue WCS’s mission of achieving gender parity, fostering a diverse and inclusive network, engaging with local communities, and strengthening thought leadership within the cleantech and sustainability sectors. With a focus on expanding WCS’s influence and outreach, especially to under-represented communities, Sara is committed to empowering women and advocating for impactful change in our industries.

This event marks the beginning of a new chapter for WCS under Sara’s leadership, as we bid a heartfelt thank you to Lisa Ann Pinkerton, the founder of WCS, who will now serve as Vice Chairwoman.
