Stella Carakasi, a visionary fashion designer born in Germany to Greek parents, leads a sustainable revolution in the industry. With over twenty years of experience, Stella noticed the disconnect between mainstream fashion messages and the needs of real women. At Stella Carakasi, she focuses on inclusive designs for all sizes without segregating larger sizes as “plus.” Her designs are comfortable, sustainable, and timeless, emphasizing quality and fit for women of all shapes, sizes, and ages. Stella’s commitment to eco-friendly materials and sustainable practices reflects her dedication to the environment and her customers’ diverse needs. Beyond fashion, she is active in charities and advocates for social justice and environmental responsibility. Stella Carakasi is creating garments that transcend trends and empower women to embrace their true selves.

CONSULTANT IN THE LIFESTYLE PRODUCT INDUSTRY

Kate Fisher is an entrepreneurial business leader with 20 + years of experience building and managing sustainable apparel brands. Kate Fisher founded Synergy Organic Clothing and later WVN (pronounced woven). She pioneered the early adoption of organic cotton and sustainable practices and obtained industry-leading certifications (B.Corp, Fair Trade, GOTS) before sustainability became a buzzword. She is an expert in building reliable, sustainable supply chains, product development, strategic brand marketing, and growing sales channels, including wholesale to large national retailers. Kate has managed every element of running a successful sustainable apparel brand, and since closing her company last year, she has been advising and consulting other consumer brands and startups, sharing her expertise in business and sustainability.

Shirin Hashem is an experienced professional in marketing, public relations, and business development, with a career that spans New York, Paris, London, Dubai, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. She has served on the advisory boards of international startups and been recognized by Mayor Edwin Lee of San Francisco for her contributions to emerging and sustainable businesses. Shirin’s work has been featured in Forbes, Huffington Post, Vanity Fair, Vogue, and other publications. In the fashion industry, she has reported from the Oscars’ red carpet, launched and represented brands from 66 countries, and directed an online incubator for fashion and beauty startups. Currently, she works as a business development and marketing consultant serving the international market.

CLEMENTINA MARTINEZ-MASARWEH

FOUNDER / SLOW FASHION DESIGNER / STYLIST / FILMMAKER

Clementina Martinez-Masarweh is a versatile professional excelling in filmmaking, slow fashion design, keynote speaking, styling, and multidisciplinary art. Her work focuses on promoting conscious fashion and addressing environmental and social issues. She has transitioned from fast fashion to sustainable designs and has achieved recognition for her films and art installations, including multiple awards and features at major events.

HAYLEY BLATTE ANTON

SR. BUSINESS CONSULTANT DRIVING SUSTAINABILITY IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY

Hayley Blatte Anton is a business consultant and sustainability expert with over 15 years of experience. She specializes in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system configuration, sustainability tools, and has worked with renowned companies in the fashion industry. Her expertise lies in using technology to optimize supply chain workflow and drive impactful sustainability projects.
