Kick off LA Climate week with us! Get off your Zoom call and outside the conference room to join Women in Cleantech & Sustainability (WCS) on Sunday, September 8th, 9am – 11:15am for a hike and community building.
This event will begin with a hike led by WCS volunteers through one of Los Angeles’ most beautiful spaces dedicated to environmentalism, Tree People in Coldwater Canyon Park at 12601 Mulholland Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210.
Tree People’s mission is to inspire, engage, and support people in taking personal responsibility for the urban environment, making it safe, healthy, fun, and sustainable. Their hikes, trails, education, forestry, policy and research, and community initiatives take place in a space that also hosts a community center and the enchanting 150-seat S. Mark Taper Foundation Amphitheater, where concerts and film screenings take place.
Please bring your own reusable water bottle to prevent additional waste. Along the way, participants will have the chance to connect with fellow sustainability professionals, share experiences, and learn about the latest trends and challenges in the industry.
Parking is onsite. The park entrance is at the stoplight where Coldwater Canyon Ave., Franklin Canyon Dr., and Mulholland Dr. (West) intersect. The entrance is on the Valley-side of the street.
WCS is committed to building a strong community of like-minded professionals dedicated to advancing environmental solutions. We invite everyone to join us! Together, let’s make a difference for our planet and future generations.
