Los Angeles is known as the "Creative Capital of the World" and is the home of Hollywood. The City of Light is a major global center for media and entertainment as well as the center of the motion picture industry. Like other industries, the media industry including production companies, agencies and studios are incorporating sustainable practices to take into consideration environmental, social and economic issues. The high profile visibility of this industry makes it an exciting launchpad to build global corporate clean and sustainability programs with ambitious goals and to create new clean business opportunities.

Join us for a fireside chat with two sustainability leaders navigating the Entertainment Industry and sharing the goal to green the screen. Audrey Vinant-Tang is the Senior Manager for Energy & Sustainability at NBCUniversal. She will share with us her bold career path and will discuss her current missions as she oversees sustainability strategy and energy management for the studio operations looking to pilot clean technology and decarbonizing facilities. Kris Barberg, Executive Director and Partner at EcoSet Consulting plays important roles in contacting with content producers and advertising clients to build sustainable production programs that mitigate the physical waste impacts behind the scenes and incorporate circular economy principles.

Attendees will discover how the Media industry is taking actions to achieve sustainable goals and to create clean energy momentum. They will learn more about the immediate and long-term goals being developed in the Los Angeles scene and how they are leading the industry forward. The discussions will highlight the new roles and career pathways being created for sustainability professionals in this space.
