Termed this generation’s Silent Spring, The Uninhabitable Earth: Life After Warming is a no fluff, harrowing account of what will happen to our planet if the current pace of climate change continues. Spurred from his 2017 New York Magazine article of the same name, Wallace-Wells’ outlines the meteorological, sociological, and psychological consequences climate change will have for warming projections up to 8 degrees Celsius.

The discussion will be moderated by WCS members Maria Travaille and Natalie Zandt.

Come and enjoy a meaningful conversation (whether you have read the book or not) about the projected consequences climate change will have in the 21st century, and what we can do about it. Ahead of the event you may consider reading Uninhabitable Earth or joining our Slack channel to engage in discussion while reading the book.
